Professional Pilot Ranks Galaxy Aviation Among Top 15 of U.S. Fixed Base Operators

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (June 24, 2003) - Three fixed based operators who provide aviation services at Palm Beach International Airport, including Galaxy Aviation, were ranked among the top 25 in the United States by a prestigious industry publication.

Professional Pilot magazine's annual Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment survey, or PRASE, moved Galaxy up to No. 15, up from No. 22 last year.

Galaxy Aviation provides fuel, aircraft hangars/office space, charter and other aviation services for both private and corporate aircraft.

Other fixed base operators at Palm Beach International finished close behind. Jet Aviation was ranked No. 16; and Signature Aviation at No. 23 in the survey released in the May 2003 issue of Professional Pilot.

Galaxy Aviation Customer Service Manager Tracy Kvalsvig, left, was among the 15 singled out as the top CSRs in the country. Kvalsvig was ranked No. 9, up from last year's No. 11.

"We're very pleased that we're not only included in the rankings, but also moved up this year," said Brad Kost, President of Galaxy Aviation at Palm Beach International Airport. "We're also honored that Tracy, once again, earned enough votes to be ranked in the top 10 this year. This is an incredible doubleheader for us."

Rated on a scale of 1-10, with 10 representing the best service of the category, Galaxy earned a 9.13 in customer service, an 8.97 in quick turn around service, and an 8.88 overall rating.

Galaxy Aviation has been recognized four times in the PRASE survey for its outstanding
service to the general aviation community.
