Boca Aviation Donates Office Space to Local Angel Flight Chapter

BOCA RATON, Fla. (Sept. 2002) - The local chapter of a well-known aviation-related charity now has a new home, thanks to a donation by Boca Aviation. The company recently donated office space in their terminal to the South Florida chapter of Angel Flight Southeast, a non-profit volunteer organization involved in public benefit flying.

According to Brett Greenberg, operations manager for Boca Aviation, having an Angel Flight office at the Boca Aviation terminal is a "win/win" situation for both the charity and the pilot volunteers who are among the base's customers. "We're very happy to have an Angel Flight office in our terminal," Greenberg said. "This will allow Angel Flight to be more accessible to the participating pilots, as well as to potential volunteers."

Angel Flight Southeast relies on hundreds of volunteer pilots (both corporate and private), copilots and ground volunteers to arrange free air transportation for those with medical or compelling human needs. Missions include transplants, research, chemotherapy, compassionate care, emergency relief flights and others.
